NKWLL 2025 – Picture Day Information

UPDATE: July 1, 2025 – 1:00pm –

1. The ordering system may be down between 1:30 – 4:30pm today (July 1st) for gallery updating.
   • Process Update”
     • More pictures will be added
     • Keyword/tagging information will be added to many teams.
     • Ordering will likely be paused during this time.
2. Please note – I personally do all of the editing and image work for each image, however, the printing and ordering is an outsourced, automated process.
   • Explanation:
     • In the past, I used to place each photo in the absolute position in the image – however – with so many options available, and subjectivity in preference, it is up to the person ordering to properly place/crop the image when ordering.
     • Also, this feature allows more time for editing, faster turnaround time, and provide more image options of your athlete.
       • ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR ORDER, YOU MUST CONTACT PHOTODAY IMMEDIATELY TO STOP THE PROCESS.

3. Anectdotal Info: You may notice some images that may be “off” in terms of uneven warmth in color or images that have a goofy pose, face, or purposeful manipulation. This is due to my experience in customers looking for different looks in their style of image.
   • A couple of families who missed a team photo requested to attempt to try to place their athlete into the team photo in post-production.
     • This is not a normal honored request – but I try to do so when I can. To do this well, there are many factors that come into play – especially matching the lighting – and doing that in post is not easy and to even reasonably match and fit into an image and be very time consuming. Also, I try to lean into the situation, and use humor to compensate for issues. It does not always work, but sometimes – the final product is …..fun!

UPDATE: July 29, 2025 – 10:00am – The ordering system is open!!!

Currently, all team and individual images are available, however, the ideal way to access all respective images the fastest for your athlete is by utilizing the “Face Find” feature of the PhotoDay ordering system. Some people hesitate to upload a photo of their child into the system. You can also do this from your phone. If you are not comfortable with that feature, a search by “keyword” or “tag” will be available throughout the system by the end of this week.

UPDATE: June 27th, 2025 – 5:25pm – The ordering system has NOT been opened yet. Unfortunately, there was a storage fail with the images and the whole editing process had to be started over again. The editing process is complete, but the picture keyword process “tagging” is taking longer than expected with family responsibilities assisting with the delay. My apologies for this delay. I will hopefully have the ordering system open by Sunday evening, June 29th, 7pm. If not earlier!!!

***To the families of the Coach-Pitch Division: To date, (as of June 27th) no one from the division has scheduled nor have we received communication from any coach or commissioner from the division regarding pictures or scheduling dates. As of right now, I will consider this division (as well as the Senior Division), as not wanting photos done for their teams. If a coach/team/commissioner still wants to schedule, please reach out.***

Ordering should be available by the end of the weekend of June 21st/22nd and all divisions that have been completed will be available by that point. The ordering system may be open before that point. If it is, and you do not see your child’s pictures in, please wait until Monday, June 23rd, before reaching out with questions.

Additionally, if you have multiple children in different divisions, you may have to wait until all divisions have been entered until ordering as shipping charges are applied per order.
