April 8, 2023 – Youth Fishing Opening Day at Biscuit City An event that fosters an experience for the young to enjoy the life-long activity of fishing. A day-long event that started at 6 am. A chilly start but many opportunities for kids to learn how to fish for brook and trout, and the excitement and rising sun warmed everyone up!

North Kingstown Town Beach Aerials
A sunrise nautical scene from above at the North Kingstown Town Beach. Almost always a calm spot to view Narragansett Bay, this beach is inviting all times of the year. This time is from the views of almost water level to about 110′ above the water.

Had some fun getting a couple of shots I really wanted to try for a while and some others of local interest. Had some radio connection issues and had to end early, but still had quite enough to call it a successful venture.

Last days of Summer
School is back open, sort of. The beaches are a lot emptier. Fall sports are back in play…sort of… And the leaves are turning. But, this also means that Narragansett Beach has been re-opened to the commoners with their gates opened and chain link fence taken down. Even on this 43 degree morning, surfers were plenty and many others enjoying yet another glorious New England sunrise.

Beavertail Lighthouse – May Sunrise
As I have stated before, this is one of my happy places. Whether it is to take photographs, look at the night sky, hang out with my wife and family and to calm the mind. Typically, it’s quite windy. In moments it isn’t, especially in the early morning or at sunset – wow. Peaceful. I could probably open a gallery just on the amount of shots I have from here alone! Enjoy…

#pushupchallenge – Day 30 & the Newport Bridge
Day 30 of the pushup challenge for me. 7th week of distance learning and it will be at least 7 more. It’s depressing and not much fun. Making the best of it is one thing but having uncertainty…that’s stressful. However, I am still able to make lessons and videos for my students and most of the time spent with my kids is quality time…or some of the time….okay, a small percentage is quality AND fun…but we all need personal space at times!
